Zero Energy

The series Zero Energy was created during lockdown, and reflect the artist’s subjective experience and external observations. According to Efstathiou, “During lockdown, everything felt serene and tranquil. The turmoil and noise of city life was gone and the earth got a chance to breathe again. I could hear the birds, and feel the trees finally being at ease. The peacefulness that surrounded me released an energy that made all the colours seem brighter and people more harmonious. There was a sense of togetherness, and a return to core values. Zero Energy affirms the idea of absolute unity in the context of sublime serenity.”
